    Red Day Charity Event

    DETAILS

The agents of Keller Williams in Northwest Arkansas are organizing another RED DAY charity event to benefit the community Thursday, May 9th, 2019 from 8 am to 1 pm at the Keller Williams office in Johnson.

RED Day is Keller William's day of service where all the agents take off work the second Thursday in May at all KW brokerages around the world to give back to the communities they live and work in. On that day we set out to "give where we live" and create a legacy worth leaving through acts of service by setting out to Renew, Energize, and Donate in our communities.

This year Keller Williams in Northwest Arkansas is supporting Sleep in Heavenly Peace, which makes bunk beds for local kids who currently sleep on the floor or who don't have a bed to sleep in. The children who receive these beds range from displaced children, children who have lost everything, or children who have never had a bed to sleep on. This impacts nearly 10,000 local children currently sleeping on the floor through no fault of their own. These children will be given a sense of stability, security, and hope when they receive a bed from the agents of Keller Williams and Sleep in Heavenly Peace on Red Day. The Sleep in Heavenly Peace chapter of Northwest Arkansas currently has a backlog of almost 100-bed requests. With each bed costing $175, the agents have made it their goal this Red Day to raising $17,500 for this project by May 7th, 2019. Achieving this goal will make this bed building day the single largest in Arkansas history for Sleep in Heavenly Peace. The agents are collecting donations from the real estate community, friends, families, local businesses, and the community at large in advance to support the build on May 9th.
