A RESOLUTION CLARIFYING AND IDENTIFYING THE

WHEREAS, the Johnson Planning Commission was duly created by the enactment of
Ordinance No. 22, which Ordinance set the number of members, and the terms of planning
commission members among other matters.

number of Planning Commission members and Ordinance No. 96-27 was adopted.
WHEREAS, those Ordinances require that members be appointed for specific terms not
to exceed five (5) years, and that when vacancies are filled the newly appointed members shall
serve out the appointed term of their predecessor.
WHEREAS, a clear, accurate, and concise record of the terms of the current planning
commission members has not been kept, and there now exists significant confusion as to the
terms of the various members.
