RESOLUTION 2007-8

A RESOLUTION, PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE 2007-14 OF THE CITY OF
JOHNSON, ARKANSAS, SETTING AND DETERMINING FEES FOR VARIOUS
PERMITS, RE-INSPECTIONS, PERMIT EXTENSIONS, AS WELL AS
PROCEEDINGS BEFORE THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION AND/OR CITY
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council recognized the need to review,
study, update and standardize the various fees charged by the City;
WHEREAS, Ordinance 2007-14 was enacted to provide that the various fees be set by
Resolution of the City Council from time to time;
WHEREAS, the Johnson Building Official has recommended the following fees be adopted
for permits and proceedings within the City to bring Johnson in line with the actual costs to the City
and the surrounding areas.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS, That:
Section 1: That the fees set forth on Exhibit A hereto shall be the fees charged/collected
by the City of Johnson for demolition permits, moving permits, six month building permit extensions
of other permits, and re-inspection fees from and after the 30th day of November, 2007.
Section 2: That the fees set forth (manner of calculation) on Exhibit B hereto shall be the
fees charged/collected by the City of Johnson for Electrical Permits from and after the 30th day of
November, 2007.
Section 3: That the fees set forth (manner of calculation) on Exhibit C hereto shall be the
fees charged/collected by the City of Johnson for Mechanical Permits from and after the 30th day of
November, 2007.
Section 4: That the fees set forth (manner of calculation) on Exhibit D hereto shall be
the fees charged/collected by the City of Johnson for Plumbing Permits from and after the 30th day of
November, 2007.
Section 5: That the fees set forth on Exhibit E hereto shall be the fees charged/collected
by the City of Johnson for the proceedings listed before the Johnson Planning Commission and/or
City Council from and after the 30th day of November, 2007
