AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND BOUNDARIES REGARDING PROPERTY
IDENTIFIED ON ZONING PETITION NO. 96-2
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS;
SECTION ONE: The zone classification of the following described property
changed from A-l to C-l
LAYMAN'S
DESCRIPTION: Approximate!)' 8.21 acres on the east side of 48th Street at or near
its intersection with Trout Farm Road.

DESCRIPTION: Part of the SE/4 of the SE/4 of Section 16, Township 17 North,
Range 30 West, Washington County, Arkansas; being more
Commencing at the SE Corner of said SE/4 of the SE/4, thence N 0
degrees 35'59" E 1052.39 feet, thence S 87 degrees 00' 22" W
197.06 feet to the point of beginning, thence N 83 degrees 53'4S"
W 293.63 feet thence N 89degrees 15'01" W 175.82 feet to the
center of 48th Street, thence along said street the following: S
11 degrees 06'13" W 281.52 feet, S 5 degrees 29'22" W 61.01 feet,'
S 8 degrees 12'18" E 138.81 feet, S 17 degrees 02'19" E 205.71
feet, and S 16 degrees 01'09" E 402.85 feet to the intersection of
48th Street and Trout Farm Road. Thence along the center of Trout

Farm Road, thence leaving said road N 15 degrees 59*21" W
400.00 feet, thence S 70 degrees H'31" \ 195.00 feet to the center
of 48th Street, thence along the center of 48th Street S 16 degrees
01'09" E 402.85 feet to the point of beginning, containing 1.79 .
acres more or less, and subject to the rights-of-way of Trout Farm
Road and 48th Street along the south and west sides of the
property, all of which is in the city limits of Johnson, Arkansas.
That the official Zoning Districts map of the City of Johnson, AR
is hereby amended to reflect the zoning change in section one
above.
SECTION THREE: EMERGENCY CLAUSE: The City Council determines that an
emergency exists and this ordinance, being necessary for the
preservation of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of
Johnson, Arkansas shall be effective immediately upon its passage,
approval, publication, and recording of a certified copy thereof
with the Recorder of Washington County, Arkansas.
