AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
AND BOUNDARIES REGARDING PROPERTY IDENTIFIED IN REZONING
PETITIONNO.99-1 K. HARNESS
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has passed Rezoning Petition No. 99-1 and
recommend to the City Council passage of an ordinance to rezone the described property from
Agricultural to C-2;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the zone classification of the following described, property be changed
from A to C-2:
A part of the NW1/4 and a part of the W 1A of the NE 1/4 of Section 21, Township
17 North, (T-17-N) Range 30 West (R-30-W), Washington County, Arkansas, being
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the NW corner of Section 21, RunN8S°59'05"E 1880.78 feet along
the north line of Section 21 to the true P.O.B. of said Tract 2 exception, said point
being a point near the center of Great House Springs Road at the NE corner of a 2.25
acre cemetery; thence continuing along said north line NS8°59'05"E 315.02 feet to
a point in said road being the beginning of controlled access right-of-way (RAV) to
U. S. Highway 71 bypass; thence SOO°2S'00"E 41.90 feet to the RAV of U.S.
Highway 71 Bypass; thence along said RAV N89037'11"E 280.15 feet; thence
S75°39f12"E 192.15 feet; thence S71°24'32"E 98.82 feet; thence S29°07'06"E 76.34
feet; thence S01°49'13"E 254.37 feet; thence S01°46'01"E 155.99 feet; thence
S22°10'02" E 302.76 feet to a fence line approximately 4 chains east of the west line
of theNE 1/4 of Section 21; thence along said line SOO°25'00"E 838.54 feet to the
center of Clear Creek; thence along said creek centerline S54°39'56" W 42.12 feet;
thence S69°59'33"W 197.46 feet; thence S72°3V11"W 172.38 feet; thence

SECTION 2: That the official Zoning District's map of the City of Johnson, Arkansas is
hereby amended to reflect the zoning change in Section 1 above.
