Ordinance 2002-09

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT CLASSIFICATION
AND BOUNDARIES REGARDING THE REAL PROPERTIES IDENTIFIED IN
REZONING PETITIONS NO. 2002-3: 2002-4, 2002-5 AND 2002-6.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has passed Rezoning Petition No. 2002-3 of Judith
Schaap. and recommends to the City Council passage of an ordinance to rezone the property
described in said Petition from A-l to C-l;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has passed Rezoning Petition No. 2002-4 of Mary
Edgin, and recommends to the City Council passage of an Ordinance to rezone the property described
in said Petition from A-l to R-3;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has passed Rezoning Petition No. 2002-5 of Derrel
and Ruth Beard, and recommends to the City Council passage of an Ordinance to rezone the property
described in said Petition from A-l to C-l;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has passed Rezoning Petition No. 2002-6 of Derrel
and Ruth Beard, and recommends to the City Council passage of an ordinance to rezone the property
described in said Petition from A-l to C-l;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JOHNSON,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the zoning classification of the following described property be and
hereby is changed from A-l to C-l:

SECTION 4: That the zoning classification of the following described property be and
hereby is changed from A-l to C-l:
Part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 21 in Township
17 North of Range 30 West, and being described as follows: Beginning at the
Northeast Corner of said 40 acre tract, and running thence West 5 chains; thence
South 5 chains and 50 links; thence South 64° East to the Eastern boundary line of
said quarter section; thence North with said line to the place of beginning, and
containing 3 1/2 acres, more or less.
SECTION 5: That the official Zoning District's map of the City of Johnson, Arkansas, is
hereby amended to reflect the zoning changes in Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 above.
