ORDINANCE NO. 2004-08
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A NEW ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF JOHNS ON, ARKANSAS, TO BE KNOWN AS WILLOW
CREEK ADDITION, PHASE III, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY TO EXIST.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Johnson, Arkansas:
THAT WHEREAS, there has been duly presented to the City Planning Commission of
Johnson, Arkansas, a final plat of certain land in the City of Johnson, Washington County. Arkansas,
being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A"
AND WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has approved the final plat presented by
Petitioner with specified conditions and has approved the dedication of streets, rights-of-way and
utility easements shown upon said final plat with specified conditions andjoins with the said Petitioner
in petitioning the City Council to accept said Willow Creek Addition, Phase III, as an addition of the
City of Johnson. Arkansas;
AND WHEREAS, a hearing was held upon the acceptance of said final plat by the City
Planning Commission, and such final plat was accepted and recommended to the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JOHNSON, ARKANSAS:
SECTION ]: That the Willow Creek Addition, Phase III, as shown on the final plat
approved by the City Planning Commission, a copy of which is attached to this Ordinance and made
a part hereof as though set out herein word for word, be and the same is hereby accepted by the City

of Johnson, Washington County, Arkansas, and the City hereby accepts for the use and benefit to the
public, the dedications contained therein of the streets, rights-of-way and utility easements.
SECTION 2: That the continued progress of the development of this area is of vital interest
to the City and affects numerous citizens. Immediate passage, approval and effectiveness of this
Ordinance is necessary for the public peace, health and safety. Therefore an emergency is hereby
found to exist and is hereby declared. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from the day of
its' passage and approval.
