ORDINANCE NO. 2004-13
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND BOUNDARIES REGARDING
PROPERTY IDENTIFIED IN REZONING PETITION NO. 2004-
21.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has passed Rezoning Petition No. 2004-21 and
recommended to the City Council passage of an ordinance to rezone the described property fromA-1
toR-1;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JOHNSON,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the zone classification of the following described property be changed
fromA-1 toR-1:
The southeast quarter (%) of the northwest quarter (%) of Section 15, Township 17
North, Range 30 West, less and except:
Part of the southeast quarter (%) of the northwest quarter (K), section 15, Township
17 North, Range 30 West, described as beginning 477.42 feet south of the northeast
corner of said SE/4 of the NW/4, thence south 208.71 feet, thence west 208.71 feet,
thence north208.71 feet, thence East 208.71 feetto the point of beginning, containing
one (1) acre more or less, subject to the right of way of Carley Street on the East side
thereof, and subj ect to easements, right of ways, and protective covenants of record,
if any.
And, Less and except:
A one acre parcel of land surrounding, and including, the residence generally
described as 3936 Carley Road, Johnson, Arkansas. Said one acre parcel of land to
be better described upon completion of the anticipated survey.
SECTION 2: That the official Zoning District's map of the City of Johnson, Arkansas is
hereby amended to reflect the zoning change in Section 1 above.
