ORDINANCE NO. 2012-10
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATION AND BOUNDARIES REGARDING
PROPERTY IDENTIFIED IN REZONING PETITION OF ANGEL
FLORO AND TERESITA FLORO APPROVED JUNE 25, 2012, BY
JOHNSON PLANNING COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission on June 25, 2012, passed the Rezoning Petition of Angel
Floro and Teresita Floro and recommended to the City Council passage of an ordinance to rezone the
described property from R-M to C-l;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS:
Section 1: That the zone classification of the following described property be changed from
R-M to C-l:
A part of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) and part of
the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 22,
Township 17 North, Range 30 West being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4, thence South along the East
line of said NW 1/4 NE 1/4 869.50 feet to the Southerly right-of-way of the St Louis &
San Francisco Railroad (now the Arkansas and Missouri Railroad); thence along said
right-of-way South 59°5'4S" West 671.68 feet to the Point of beginning (P.O.B); thence
South 30°59'14" East 144.99 Feet; thence South 7°49'39" West 71.62 Feet; thence North
82°21r West 37.88 feet; thence North 76°57'27" West 255.41 feet to a point on the
Southerly right-of-way of the St. Louis & San Francisco Railroad; thence along said
right-of-way North 59°5'48" East 258.11 Feet to the Point of Beginning, containing .68
acres, more or less, and also being known as Lot 1, proposed Bodenstein Subdivision to
the City of Johnson, Washington County, Arkansas. This property is subject to the Right
of Way of Hewitt Street along the South side thereof.
Section 2: That the official Zoning District's map of the City of Johnson, Arkansas is
hereby amended to reflect the zoning change in Section 1 above.
