AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A NEW ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS TO BE KNOWN AS SADDLE BROOK
SUBDIVISION,. PHASE I, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
JOHNSON, ARKANSAS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
OF JOHNSON,
ARKANSAS:
THAT WHEREAS, there has been duly presented to the City
Planning Commission of Johnson, Arkansas, a plat of certain land
in the City of Johnson, Washington County, Arkansas being more
particularly described as followed, to-wit:
Part of the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 and part of the
SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 15, Township 17
Range 30 of the Fifth Principal Meridian in
Washington County, Arkansas and being more
particularly described as follows: Commencing at
the SW Corner of said NW 1/4, SE 1/4 thence EAST
14.78 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, thence N
00°22'05" W 856.97 feet, thence N 89°17'12" E
932.18 feet, thence S 00°03'22" W 852.55 feet,
thence S 00°03I22" W 23.16 feet thence S 89°01'41"
W 925.73 feet, thence N 00°22'05" W 22.85 feet to
the POINT OF BEGINNING Containing 19.16 acres more
or less subject to easements and R/W of record.
AND WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has approved the plat
as presented by Petitioner, and has approved the dedication of
streets, rights-of-way and utility easements as shown upon said
plat and join with the said petitioner in petitioning the City
Council to accept said Saddle Brook Subdivision, Phase I, to the

City of Johnson, Arkansas.
AND WHEREAS, a hearing was held upon the acceptance of said
plat by the City Planning Commission and that there appeared no
protest to the acceptance and dedication;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS, that the Saddle Brook Subdivision,
Phase I as shown on the plat approved by the City Planning
Commission, a copy of which is attached to this Ordinance and
made a part hereof as though set out herein word for word, be and
the same is hereby accepted by the City of Johnson, Washington
County, Arkansas, and the City hereby accepts for the use and
benefit to the public, the dedications contained therein of the
streets, rights-of-way and utility easements.
It is determined by the City Council of Johnson, Arkansas,
that an emergency is hereby declared to exist and that this
Ordinance, being necessary for the immediate preservation of
their public peace, health and safety, shall be in effect
immediately from the date of passage and approval.
