AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING A NEW ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF JOHNSON, ARKANSAS TO BE KNOWN AS FERGUSON'S GLEN
SUBDIVISION, PHASE I, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF JOHNSON,
ARKANSAS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JOHNSON,
ARKANSAS:
THAT WHEREAS, there has been duly presented to the City Planning
Commission of Johnson, Arkansas, a plat of certain land in the City of Johnson,
Washington County, Arkansas being more particularly described as followed, to-wit:
LEGAL DESCRIPTION
A part of the northeast quarter (NE 1/4) of the southwest quarter (SW 1/4)
of section fifteen (15) township seventeen north (T-17-N) range thirty west (R-30-W)
being more particularly described as follows.
Being at the center of said section fifteen (15) township seventeen north
(T-17-N). Range thirty west (R-30-W), thence S 00*33'56" W 349.93 feet: Thence
S 00'57'22'E - 681.76 feet to the point of beginning; thence S 89'25'15"W -1341.68 Feet:
thence S 00*28*33* W - 970.62 feet; thence N 89'36*13*E - 1348.91 feet: thence N
00'57'22' W - 292.17 to the point of beginning. Containing 8.96 acres more or less.
AND WHEREAS, said Planning Commission has approved the plat as presented
by Petitioner, and has approved the dedication of streets, rights-of-way and utility
easements as shown upon said plat and join with the said petitioner in petitioning the City
Council to accept said Ferguson's Glen Subdivision, Phase I, to the City of Johnson,
Arkansas.
AND WHEREAS, a hearing was held upon the acceptance of said plat by the City
Planning Commission and that there appeared no protest to the acceptance and dedication;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Johnson,
Arkansas, that the Ferguson's Glen Subdivision, Phase I as shown on the plat approved by
the City Planning Commission, a copy of which is attached to this Ordinance and made a
part hereof as though set out herein word for word, be and the same is hereby accepted by
the City of Johnson, Washington Count}', Arkansas, and the City hereby accepts for the
use and benefit to the public, the dedications contained therein of the streets, rights-of -way
and utility easements.

It is determined by the City Council of Johnson, Arkansas, that an emergency is
hereby declared to exist and that this Ordinance, being necessary for the immediate
preservation of their public peace, health and safety, shall be in effect immediately from the
date of passage and approval.
This Ordinance passed this 14th day of November, 1995.
