Chris Kelley

Chief of Police

Since 1987, I have served as a police officer and supervisor, both within the United States and internationally. At its base level, police are guardians of those they serve by providing quality police services, with compassion and respect to all.

The way we police our city has changed in the past 30+ years since I first became a police officer. Policing can and will continue to change to best meet the needs of those we serve. We protect our citizenry by providing highly visible patrol, respond to criminal incidents and identify issues that attempt to degrade the good quality of life we have come to enjoy in NW Arkansas.

To that end, Community Based Policing is a top priority for the Johnson Police Department.

You will see us out in your neighborhoods and business districts as we perform our duties and carry out our commitment to best serve you. I look forward to meeting you and welcome your feedback. Feel free to email or call me with questions, concerns or just to say hi.
